Back on March 2nd of this year I wrote the following in a post entitled “The Neighborhood (and Strangers) as Entertainment – http://bit.ly/cK2agb:
“Imagine individual bars/cafes/restaurants/clubs/bookstores, etc. equipped with the modern equivalent of boardwalk photo booths with patrons uploading real time video commentary about the venue. (This “connected” modern photo booth could also be your phone. The booth would add a kitsch factor while also spitting out old school picture strips.)”
I stumbled across a company that seemingly begins to get at what I had in mind, save for the key, live, networked neighborhood element. Check out the following video:
